Mr. King is the Managing Partner of Tactical Media Group, where he provides strategic leadership and operational expertise.
He is also an accomplished author. His book Blue the Black Fish delivers a gritty, day-by-day account of BUD/S Class 86 and the intense forging of a Navy SEAL. His book Silent Partner offers an unfiltered, raw look at the high-stakes realities of law enforcement patrol duty.
His third release, Orbit 7: The Battle Angel Files, is a bold, introspective anthology of prose and poetry that explores spiritual transformation, personal battles, and raw human experience with haunting beauty and irreverent honesty.

Thirty years of leadership in the food industry means I don’t match wine to food based on a textbook, I create pairings from the plate up. As a recognized food critic, Senior Editor of Food & Wine for Onyx Magazine, and a distinguished guest lecturer at UCF’s Rosen School of Hospitality, I understand exactly how flavors collide and what to pour to make a meal unforgettable. My deep roots in the culinary world including serving as a former Culinary Board Member at Livingstone College—allow me to approach wine with a chef's perspective and an editor’s precision.
I teach wine tasting theory without the usual snobbery. My expertise covers everything from the bold, rich styles of American fortified wines to the historic, classic flavors of Old World wines across Europe and the globe. No elitism, no fluff, just real flavor. Best of all, you will leave with a sharp, new skill set of food and wine etiquette you can actually use.
